Mental health symptoms that begin to affect a client’s mood, thinking, and behavior warrant a comprehensive assessment by a medical or behavioral health professional. Our licensed clinicians can diagnose issues that are causing distress or impairment. An individualized treatment plan is then developed based on the idea that the individual can improve their life with supportive influences. Treatment plans are tailored to a client’s physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs. This multifaceted approach allows clients to obtain an ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based plan for a successful recovery.
Psychiatric oversight is built-in into each client’s personalized treatment plan. An initial psychiatric evaluation is completed by our Medical Director to determine the need for medication intervention and/or maintenance. Rising Phoenix Wellness Services follows best practice guidelines for mental health treatment to include psychotherapy and medication if recommended. All clients are encouraged to remain on prescribed medications while in programming to achieve the most successful outcomes.
Mental health conditions require a client-responsive approach. Our philosophy is research-driven and based on our clinical observation of a client’s presentation and self-report of maladaptive behaviors. Through well-researched interventions, there are possibilities to achieve a greater understanding of one’s self, face challenges, and recognize how active participation creates renewed possibilities. This often results in new ways of thinking, helps to disarm negative core beliefs, and strengthens healthy self-constructs.
We have found that symptom reduction can be improved by taking an eclectic approach to treatment. Our programming aims to educate clients to develop skills that assist them with coping in adaptive ways. Signs of improvement include better sleep, increased socialization, ability to regulate emotions more effectively, increased productivity, and ultimately feeling more empowered and discovering a sense of purpose.
Rising Phoenix Wellness Services has a strong focus on recognizing the advantages of seeking mental health treatment. We assist clients in learning and practicing new skills to achieve their goals. A reduction in symptoms allows a client to live a life with greater freedom and stability. Very often, people have mixed feelings about making changes in their lives. The need for change often motivates a client to seek treatment and address the situational and/or genetic factors common to the development of mental health conditions. Customized approaches to mental health treatment assist clients with targeting their most troublesome symptoms by realizing that there are solutions and that with the right treatment, they can feel better.
