Eric Burns, BA, MSW Intern

Eric Burns is a Business Development Representative at Rising Phoenix Wellness Services, as well as a Master of Social Work (MSW) student at Arizona State University. Originally from the East Coast, he relocated to Arizona three years ago and is now pursuing his passion for mental health and wellness. Before transitioning into healthcare, Eric spent eight years in the marketing field, gaining valuable experience in communication, strategy, and relationship-building. His desire to make a more meaningful impact inspired him to shift his career toward social work, aligning his professional path with his values and goals. Passionate about continuous learning and personal growth, Eric is committed to fostering supportive spaces for clients on their journey toward recovery and building strong community partnerships that expand access to care. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, traveling, road trips, and spending quality time with friends and family.
